  • Together with a band consisting of a selection of the best New York jazz musicians, Swing Crooner David Rose presents his new album, which was completely recorded in New York City under the musical direction of Lee Musiker. Lee Musiker, musical director, arranger and pianist of Tony Bennett for 15 years now, has written new arrangements for this album especially for David Rose. Jazz guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli can be heard as a special guest. The band is completed with Dan Levinson (woodwinds), Tal Ronen (bass) and Mark McLean (drums). The album was recorded live in New York in only three studio days. The overdubbing process was avoided. All in the tradition of the classical jazz vocal albums of the 1950s and 1960s. The new album "The New York Session" is the highlight of David Rose's career so far.

Lee Musiker, seit nunmehr 15 Jahren musikalischer Leiter, Arrangeur und Pianist von Tony Bennett, hat eigens für David Rose neue Arrangements für dieses Album geschrieben. Als Special Guest ist Jazz-Gitarren-Legende Bucky Pizzarelli zu hören. Komplettiert wird die Band mit Dan Levinson (woodwinds), Tal Ronen (bass) und Mark McLean (drums). Das Album wurde in New York in nur drei Studiotagen live eingespielt. Dabei wurde auf jegliches Overdubbing Verfahren verzichtet. Ganz in der Tradition der klassischen Jazz-Vocal-Alben der 1950s und 1960s. Das neue Album „The New York Session“ stellt nun den bisherigen Höhepunkt in der Karriere von David Rose dar.
