Das Bad Mouse Orchestra ist ein Ukulelen und Gitarren Trio aus Freiburg und Braunschweig, das den Zuhörer in die goldene Swing Ära zurückversetzt. Ihr Repertoire reicht von bekannten Standards der 20er bis 40er Jahre wie „I Can’t Give You Anything but Love” und „Sweet Georgia Brown” bis zu unbekannten oder vergessenen Stücken aus dem letzten Jahrhundert, die heute kaum noch jemand kennt. Diese vergessene Musik finden sie oft beim Stöbern in alten Sheet-Music-Heften oder Schellackplatten, die sie von Flohmärkten, Dachböden oder Trödelläden aus der Versenkung holen.

Ihre Begeisterung für die Kultur jener Zeit endet nicht am Bühnenrand - sie lieben und leben das musikalische Flair auch darüber hinaus.
Eine weitere Besonderheit ihrer Auftritte sind die originalen Arrangements des Ukulelevirtuosen Roy Smeck, die ihnen von einem seiner Schüler, Vincent Cortese aus den USA, überliefert wurden. Diese kreativen und erfrischenden Arrangements sind gespickt mit kleinen, visuellen Tricks, die man so nur selten zu hören und zu sehen bekommt.
